Update Ilse Team operations
Yesterday I have been to Monta, I have also updated the wiki about the return forecast. Most important change is the comment part in the return forecast. If we already know a product is broken we can put QUARANTINE in the comment so that Monta knows the product is broken and they don't need to check. The return department at Monta is well organized at the moment. There is one dedicated person working on the returns. HIs name is Ghazi ( I don't know exactly how to write it) He speaks dutch and is really precise. https://sites.google.com/a/solvermedia.nl/wiki/systems/monta/return-forecast
Update Bart 17jun2024 in Solver Algemeen

Update Niels 12JUN24 in Slack Solver algemeen
Hi all, with this message I would like clarify how the price rules work for our B2B customers.
This is just to clarify for your understanding, the actual percentages are not to be shared publicly.
All of our products have a [regular price], and some of the products also have a [special price].
The price that everyone can see, is the price that everyone pays for the product.
However, if you have a valid and approved B2B account, your prices may differ.
If you are a B2B customer and you have a valid account, a standard discount of 9% will be applied.
If a product has a [special price], an extra discount of 5% will be applied, on top of the 9%.
Important to know: These discounts are always applied to the [regular price].
The lowest price possible, is the price that the customer needs to pay for the item.
This means that it could be possible that the B2B user pays the same amount as a normal customer.
Example 1:
Regular price: € 199,00
Calculation
199 - 9% = 181,09
As € 181,09 is lower than the actual price, the price for the B2B customer is € 181,09.
Example 2:
Regular price: € 299,00
Special price: € 279,00
Calculation
299 - 9% = 272,09
272,09 - 5% = 258,49
As € 258,49 is lower than the actual special price, the price for the B2B customer is € 258,49.
Example 3:
Regular price: € 499,00
Special price: € 429,00
Calculation
499 - 9% = 454,09
454,09 - 5% = 431,39
As € 431,39 is not lower than the actual special price, the price for the B2B customer is € 429,00.

If you have any questions regarding special requests, like buying high quantities at once, and you’re wondering what discount you can possibly give, please reach out to @Ilse de Haan.
We are working on an automized implementation for bulk discounts, but this will not follow earlier than Q1 2025.
If you have any doubts regarding the calculations, or when you think some things are strange, always feel free to reach out to @Daria Volovova or to me.
We will be happy to clarify or adapt if any changes are needed - together we will make it work
MAY
May 23-05-2024 Solver algemeen - Alex
the backend deployment just went through. This updates:
SOL-549; Fix invoice PDF links from customer accounts
SOL-567: SolverMedia Payment methods are now available for 0,- orders (no more RWFreeShipping issues!)
SOL-596: is_saleable is actually used correctly in the code
SOL-609: The Delete Orders plugin has gone, so no more fear of buttons!
SOL-535: The RMA functionality has been expanded to sent mails on status changes and allow for PDF uploads for shipping labels
There are some known bugs/missing things yet though:
Invoice PDF links are shown for all orders, even cancelled ones without an invoice. These result in an ugly error for now (because there is no invoice to show). This will be handled gracefully very soon with a user-friendly error, and later we'll make it so that this link only shows when an invoice is actually available
For adding PDFs to RMA comments; when you do this make sure to tick the box to email the customer. This way the customer receives an email with the PDF as an attachment. Sadly, the PDF is not available from the RMA page yet, this is being worked on
Currently automatic emails for status changes for RMA requests are sent out, but no notification of new incoming RMA request is sent yet. This is also hopefully done soon
April:
Welcome to the team Philip!

Hi all, as of now a new promotion went live for the spring / summer season : The accessory deal!
What does it entail?
Every customer receives 25% discount on all accessories, when purchasing a garden pump, booster pump, borehole pump or well pump.
The discount is automatically calculated and applied in the shopping cart.
Until when does the promotion run?
The last day of this promotion is April 30th - however we might extend this period for another 2 weeks.
The reason why we are running these promotions for 2 weeks max, is that we have the possibility to change discounts or conditions and to create sense of urgency.
We are trying to run this promotion for the coming 2 - 3 months.
How are we giving this promotion the attention that it needs?
There is a banner on the homepage, the campaigns in Google and the other external campaigns are being fed with this information.
There is a landingpage per country available where everything is explained, see links below.
Next to that, we are going to give this promotion the attention that it needs on the most important category pages (see printscreen) - this will follow before the end of next week.

Hi Team, Niels has asked me to inform you all about the following:
It is now possible to insert an order in Magento with products that are not in stock, this can be a good thing for the situation when a customer wants to place an order for something that is not in stock or you want to replace a product that is not in stock.
However we do now need to check in Monta or OGO when you insert an order to double check if it is really in stock, we probably need to get used to this a little.
They are checking if they can make something like a notification when you insert an order that has a product that is out of stock but this might take a while.

Fixed the styling issue in the footer

Hereby an update on the Accessories kits. As already communicated, we have been busy creating coupling kits.
This will make it much easier for the customer and for the customer service to advise which couplings the customer needs to go from size X to size Y (e.g. 3/4" F to 1 1/2" M). Instead of doing this by yourself.
each kit has a ''new'' own EAN code. This new EAN code consists of underlying products.
Example:
8059893342799 - Accessories Kit 25 mm to 1" M
Underlying products:
4019305821773 - Socket 1"
4019305975414 - Hose Socket 25 mm (1" Male Thread)
4019305124447 - Hose clamb 25 mm Hose
For now, a coupling kits page has been created in each country under Accessories --> Coupling pieces / reducing pieces, to which all Coupling kits will be added. Note: Not all kits are live yet and these category pages also need further optimisation.
In the meantime, we are also adding these Coupling kits as product accessories, so that customers can also see and order them on the PDP (product detail page). This will look like this (see photo).
Note: This is happening in phases and it has been added to a lot of Garden and booster pumps, but not at all our pumps yet.
You can use the following spreadsheet to see which kits we have created. You can find the kits in the tab: ''List of EANs''
In column D you can find the highover (grouped) EAN code and in columns E to J, you can find the underlying EAN codes.
If there are any questions or additions, please let us know!

As of yesterday afternoon, we have replaced the TIP AJ4 Plus 6000 (also the kit version with control system) with the TIP BigWell 90/53.
There are some minor changes in the specs, but not that much

Mollie payment link update
Since the last update of the Mollie module, it looks like they have changed the way that payment links are being generated. The ultimate URL can change over time, possibly due to security reasons. However there is 1 URL that remains the same: the URL that you can copy out of the manually created order.
This is the link that you should send to the customer.
Please note that if you do not follow the steps below, you have the possibility that the payment URL changes over time and that the customer cannot pay anymore.
Go to the order in the backend (Sales > Orders > go to the order)
Scroll to the “Payment & Shipping Method” block and right-mouse-click on “here” of the sentence “Click here to pay”
Then click on “Linkadres kopiëren” or “Copy link address” in English (see printscreen)
The URL that you now have copied is something like: https://magento.xxxx.yy/zzzzzzz this is the link that you have to send to the customer --> it automatically converts to a Mollie payment link in the browser when the customer clicks on it
