Should I cut the included hose socket at the right size to fit my hose?

If the hose that is being used has a larger diameter than the smallest part of the hose socket, we would recommend cutting the socket at the right place.

It does not matter that much if you don't, but it will always cause pressure loss because the pump has to push the water through a smaller outlet than the hose itself.

The smaller the outlet, the more pressure loss will occur.
