In monta, go to Orders menu and then select Backorders.
In the image, you can see 14 backorders
DAB italy is updating the delivery date of the item in the reference field.
We as customer service have to inform the customer about the delay and ask him how he wants to proceed.
Via view details you can see the order details.

Following possibilities for the customer
wait till the order is complete
Split the order so ship what is available and wait for the backorder item to ship later
or cancel the order / change the product
Via Edit you can add to the reference date of mail to customer and your initials so that you and your colleagues know that you have sent an email.
